Directions

The Kalmar Nyckel sails from four different ports in Delaware, and travels up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Be sure to view the directions for the correct town, and if in Wilmington, the correct port. To Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard from the North. Take I-95 South to Exit #6 (M.L.King, Jr Blvd & Fourth Street). At the first light, turn left onto Fourth Street. Travel across town (just over a mile) to the railroad overpass. Pass underneath the tracks and make an immediate left onto Swedes Landing Road. (If you go over the bridge over the Christina River, you've gone too far). At the end of the road, make a right onto E. Seventh Street. Look for the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard on your right.
