This zoo has been a much loved visit for families for over 100 years, Woodland Park Zoo covers more than 90 acres and houses more than 1000 animals from 300 different species there is a lot to take in! The grounds of this zoo have been divided to encompass the animals in bioclimatic zones so you can see all of the bright tropical rainforest animals in the same place and also the hardy furry animals from the North.

There are karts and kiosks selling refreshments around the zoo as well as the Rain Forest food pavilion and the Pacific Blue chowder house.
