This brilliant zoo is spread over 64 acres and is divided into 5 main areas representing different continents of the world. Each area is full of a huge variety of amazing animals, fish and reptiles. This zoo plays a big part in the conservation and protection of endangered animals and its aim is not only to entertain its visitors but to enlighten and educate all the family on wildlife preservation.

Directions

From Highway 26 East or West, take exit 72 for Zoo/Forestry Center. Turn left onto Southwest Zoo Road. Turn right onto Southwest Zoo Parking Road. Train or bus .TriMet operates light rail trains (MAX) and buses throughout the Portland metropolitan area. Use its Trip Planner to get you to the zoo. MAX Red Line or Blue Line trains stop next to the zoo at the Washington Park station.
