This fascinating museum is home to over 18,000 works of art from all the different continents of the world. There are plenty of diverse permanent and visiting exhibitions that explore different types of art from fashion design to contemporary art, ceramics and photography to name a few. With families in mind there is an interactive space especially for kids where everyone can take part in hands-on activities all to do with the wonderful world of art. You can even pick up a Scavenger Hunt to follow as you tour around the museum which will help kids engage in the collections that are on offer.

Directions

From North Valley via I-17 Exit at McDowell Road. Turn Left at the off ramp light. Follow McDowell Road to Central Avenue. Continue through the light at Central Avenue and turn left 0.1 of a mile onto Alvarado Street. Phoenix Art Museum will be on your left hand side.
