This historic Square in the center of the city is a fantastic place to take the kids and is ranked as one of the top 5 playgrounds in the country!The kids will love the All-American carousel or a family game of golf. Let them run wild in the colorful fun playground where they can swing, climb and explore. Don't forget to visit the beautiful Fountain which is the center piece of the square.

Directions

From points North: Take I-95 to I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) and exit at 6th Street (Ben Franklin Bridge). Follow 6th Street to Chestnut Street, the Historic Philadelphia Center is located on the right inside the Public Ledger Building. From points South: Take I-95 North to exit 22 (on left). Follow signs to 676 East/Independence Hall. Continue to Callowhill Street to 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and follow to Chestnut Street, the Historic Philadelphia Center is located on the right inside the Public Ledger Building.
