About This AttractionSuggest an Edit

An urban playground, lined with trees, wild flowers and spectacular views of the Hudson River, the High Line is now one of the most visited places in New York City.Built on a section of disused railroad, the park is 1.45 miles long and elevated 30ft above street level, offering the perfect eye-shot of the hustle and bustle below. Just West of 11th Avenue is a great feature for the little ones, the Perishing Square Beams. The original beams and girders have been stripped back, creating a cool sunken play area. For those parents wanting a break from the busyness of the Big Apple, the High Line is perfect for people watching and taking a relaxing stroll. With events happening all year round, art installations and plenty of kids' programs to get involved in, the High Line is a wonderful family attraction and offers an airy strip of West Side delight.

Somewhere To Eat?

From cream-topped coffees at the Blue Bottle cafe, to Texas-style barbecues at eatery, there are plenty of places to eat and drink on the High Line.
