For all the art lovers in the family this is the place to come to learn about art and be inspired by it. There are permanent exhibitions on ceramics, korean furniture and american modernism. The museum also has temporary exhibitions so there is always something new to see every time you visit. There are free public tours at the weekends and on the last Sunday of the month an interactive tour is available which includes art making activities so everyone can get creative.

Directions

Heading south on 35W 1. Take 35W to University Ave/4th St exit 2. Turn left onto University Ave 3. Turn right at 14th Ave SE 4. Follow 14th Ave SE to the left as it turns into East River Road 5. Follow East River Road through the stop sign and down the hill to the museum (on your left) 6. When you see the museum on your left, turn left into the parking garage (just past the Washington Ave Bridge) Heading north on 35W 1. Take 35W to University Ave/4th St exit 2.
