Wharton State Forest.

This park is a fantastic place for a day outdoors with family and friends. Throughout there are rivers and streams for canoeing, plenty of hiking trails and miles of pathways for mountain biking and horse riding. The scenery and wildlife is varied and beautiful. Look out for bald eagles and screech owls, fox and deer. Batso Village lies within the park and is the site of a former bog iron and glass making center. Take a swim at the Atsion Recreation Area and enjoy a family picnic on the beach.
