FROM DOWNTOWN DETROIT Take Woodward Avenue north to Milwaukee. Make a left on Milwaukee. Take Milwaukee to Cass Avenue. Make a right. Go to West Grand Boulevard and make a left. Continue, approximately one mile, on West Grand Boulevard. The Motown Museum will be on the left. FROM METROPOLITAN AIRPORT Take I-94 East (Edsel Ford Freeway) to Grand River Exit. Take service drive to Linwood. Turn left on Linwood and go to West Grand Boulevard. Turn right on West Grand Boulevard. Pass Rosa Parks Boulevard. The Motown Museum will be on the right. FROM MACOMB COUNTY Take 1-696 East to Woodward Avenue Exit. Exit at Woodward Avenue. Turn right on Woodward and travel southbound to West Grand Boulevard (approximately nine miles). Turn right on West Grand Boulevard and continue approximately one mile. The Motown Museum will be on the left. Take 1-94 West (Edsel Ford Freeway) to M-10 (John C. Lodge Freeway). Exit immediately at West Grand Boulevard/Milwaukee Exit. Drive to West Grand Boulevard and make a left. Continue, approximately one mile. The Motown Museum will be on the left. FROM MONROE COUNTY Take I-75 North to I-96 West (Jeffries Freeway). Exit immediately at Tireman/West Grand Boulevard Exit. Make a right turn on Lothrup and a right turn on Dexter. Turn left on West Grand Boulevard and continue approximately two miles. The Motown Museum will be on the right. FROM OAKLAND COUNTY Take Northwestern Highway South to M-10 (John C. Lodge Freeway). Exit at West Grand Boulevard Exit and make a right onto West Grand Boulevard. Continue approximately one mile. The Motown Museum will be on the left. FROM WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY Take I-96 East (Jeffries Freeway) to Tireman Exit. Make left turn on Tireman and loop around to the left and cross Grand River onto West Grand Boulevard. Continue east on West Grand Boulevard approximately two miles. The Motown Museum will be on the left. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION The Motown Museum is located on West Grand Boulevard, less than a mile from Woodward Avenue. It is accessible by City of Detroit public transportation using the Dexter and Fenkell bus lines.
