Come and visit The Dakota Zoo and enjoy viewing birds, reptiles, insects and mammals. You can also take a 30 minute train ride on the Leach Express and see the sights in comfort. There are also play areas, a discovery center and a rose garden to make you trip complete!

Directions

From the North /US 83 / North Side Hotels: Follow US 83 /State Street to the junction of Interstate 94. Take I-94 Westbound to exit 156(NOTE: This is a LEFT EXIT-merge left as you approach the bridge!!). Travel approximately 3.4 miles on the expressway to Washington Street. (Washington Street is the first stoplight after crossing over the Missouri River-merge left after crossing the river). Turn LEFT onto Washington Street and proceed to first stoplight (Arbor Avenue). Turn LEFT onto Arbor Avenue and travel approximately 1/2 mile to the Zoo entrance road--sign on the left. (Arbor Avenue curves to the right and becomes Riverside park Road as it nears the Zoo entrance). Turn LEFT into the Zoo entrance road.
